Beyond Highlands

There's plenty beyond Highlands but still nearby. Here are some of our favorites. Whole Foods is in the next town over, Middletown. We also love Trader Joe's in Shrewsbury. Sea Bright is just south of Highlands and has an abundance of restaurants such as Tommy's Tavern + tap and Woody's Ocean Grille which also has a location in Tinton Falls. Also be sure to try Eventide Grille at Navesink Marina. Huddy's Inn is a great choice and a picturesque ride from The Beach House.
While you're in the area, be sure to visit Red Bank and Asbury Park. These small cities offer an artitistic, urban environment. Visit Long Branch and enjoy the beach atmostphere of Pier Village and the artistic Brighton Avenue of West End. Monmouth Park is just a few miles away.
Eastern Monmouth County is a great place to live with horse farms, orchards, wineries and an incredible county park system. Classes of all types are offered throughout the year.
